The Challenge
Well-being content in professional services tends to fall into two traps. It either sounds soft and self-help-y, which lawyers tune out, or it goes too clinical, which loses the human reason people care in the first place. The challenge for EsquireWell was building a content presence that took the topic seriously without losing the people it was trying to reach i.e. lawyers who are skeptical of wellness language by default and law firm leaders who need this work translated into terms their partners will actually listen to.
Execution Plan
The core of the work was building EsquireWell’s presence on LinkedIn (the platform where lawyers actually spend professional time and where Kendra’s audience of firm leaders, partners, and well-being-curious attorneys lives).
Rather than starting from scratch, we built the content engine around Kendra’s existing thinking. We took the body of work she’d already built and turned it into a steady rhythm of posts: ideas reframed for the platform, themes sequenced over time, frameworks pulled out and made visible.
Underneath the production work, the strategic question was tone. Lawyer well-being is a topic where the wrong voice loses the audience instantly. The content had to feel rigorous enough that senior partners would engage with it, and warm enough that the people who actually need it would feel seen; without ever tipping into the soft-focus language the legal world reflexively dismisses.
